Kampar 36stalls - Beef noodle

okay, this is a Kampar 36stalls's sequel. I have posted about 36stalls' laksa previously which is also known as the most famous laksa in Kampar. You may view it HERE .

Other than laksa, beef noodles aka sirloin noodles just might be another one of your favourite cuisines, i think.

Stall no.19 - 牛腩干捞面

a close up of the sirloin soup. Recalling the sweetness of soup makes me drool, although the main 'character' is the beef haha. Frankly speaking, the beef is very juicy and soft.
The price of this cuisine is around RM6-RM7.
too bad that you have to pay for extra meatballs. I haven't tried their meatball yet so if you've got the chance to do so, tell me how was it har :D

However, there are 2 issues when i happen to be craving for it:
1 - The price is getting more expensive >.< maybe due to inflation? i duno~ haha but having this once in awhile is still considered affordable lah~
2 - The hawker asked me to carry my food by my own instead of serving it to me >.< as you can see from the picture, it's divided into a bowl of beef soup and a plate of noodles. It's really hard to balance myself walking through such a crowded place. hmmmm >.< what to do? i pleaded them to carry it for me. i donwan the bowl and plate to become empty before i get to sit down. LOL

besides the main course, here is a snack for you - stall no.16 炸丸
 crispy and yummy ^^

Kampar 36stalls - Laksa

Browsing through my camera album because i have nothing to do now LOL other than selfies, i realized that i actually have more photos of food - I like to take photo of my food before putting it into my mouth. This has become my habit since the day i started using instagram @.@
oh well, i found two different photos of laksa
The first one......
you know which stall made this laksa if you've been to Kampar 36Stalls.
yeah~ this is from stall no.17 - AhYew Laksa 阿耀叻沙, the most famous laksa in town.
There's no need to describe how delicious it is. i bet most of you have tried it, and felt satisfied with it.

what about the other one? other than AhYew laksa
Here is another choice for you....
tadaa.... this laksa is from stall no.22

If you ask me which one is better, i would say that the question is very subjective haha
I personally prefer the laksa from stall no.22 because it is not that spicy compared to AhYew laksa and it is sweeter. I love spicy food but cannot tahan spiciness at the same time >.< my lips will looks like McD叔叔's after consuming spicy food. Sometimes, my lips crack seriously because i have sensitive lips.
So, stall no.22's laksa is my choice :)
Which one is yours?

The Scott's Pub & Restaurant

Fraser's Hill. The first thing that came to my mind was - RELAX and enjoy the food
Before heading to Fraser, i did some research on the restaurants and food in Fraser because my boy told me that the food choice is limited. Hmmm~
Other than mamak or local "food court" ... i found this
The Scott's Pub & Restaurant
i've gone through their menu.. the prices are reasonable. That's why we had our brunch and dinner there LOL

free meal of the day - bread and butter
my all time favourite breakfast.

 his breakfast set RM18.00
Too bad beef bacon is not available on that day >.<

my Spaghetti Bolognaise Chicken RM16.00
overall it's okay.. i would give a 65% which means better than average.

As mentioned earlier, we had our dinner at this place too because of its environment.

his ginger beer with a slice of lime and my tomato juice.
The tomato Juice tastes so special. not sour at all but a bit salty.

 Sirloin Steak RM28.00

Lamb Chop RM22.00
hojiak! i mean the lamb chop.
Sirloin steak is not that bad also lah~

One Day Trip to Fraser's Hill

it was quite spontaneous when my boy gave me a few options to choose where to have a short trip with him last weekend. I thought he was just kidding.
Fraser's Hill is on the list and i've never been there before. so i just replied him with 'fraser's hill'
surprisingly he said OK. I was like "huh? seriously?"
without thinking too much nor bringing a plastic bag along (just in case carsick), we began our journey the next morning
Here We Go~ BUKIT FRASER !!!
but first, let me take a picture~ this is not selfie kut
this place is really tranquil... you can relax to the max. the weather is just too good.
cool but not cold ^^ ngam ngam hou
Parked at one side of the street and walked around. Should have worn sneakers >.<

First station :

Secondly~ walking around and relax our mind.. before that, we had our lunch at Scott's Pub & Restaurant. click here to view my blogpost just in case you've missed out.

Sirloin Steaksss

Time flies. it has been monthSS since i updated my blog.
it's April now and final exam is approaching.
hmm.... what can i say is.. this sem is really reaaallyy torturous D:
March - a hyper busy month. but life goes on. Final year students must learn to enjoy every precious minute that allows you to relax.
Done with VIVA last weekend and we are still moving on.
There are still a lot of things to be modified for a better FYP.
These are my awesome groupmates and supervisor, Mr.Kuar

i should name this post as MARCH 2014 because i would like to squeeze all random photos into this blogpost haha. no lah~ maybe not all ... but some :p

okay... i want to share with you about the BEST sirloin steak i've had so far
(dont get me wrong, i don't mean the best sirloin steak in town)
i have been to STG Tea House Cafe last month - one of the 24-must-visit-cafes in Ipoh.

Not going to describe its environment because i bet most of you have already paid a visit to this place before.
if you haven't, never mind. A picture speaks a thousand words.

 my cheezzyyyy chicken chop :)

his favourite Sirloin Steak. actually i wanted to order this too >.<
but i've decided to give other dishes a try. hmm... after tasting both, sirloin steak is still the best :p

cant remember what cake is this. i just know it is a super yummy cheesecake. highly recommended ^^
Beginning of the March - STG checked.
what about the end of March?

NEXT STATION - David's Diner

i blogged about this place last year. if you have missed out that post, click here to view it.
something crazy happened last week. i visited the place twice LOL because i got a RM5 voucher from the first meal i had with my miaomiao. then my boy brought me there again after a few days. and i got another RM5 voucher, again. KateLeemiaomiao... this time 'yik' you lar the voucher XD
i've tried David's lamb chop last year.. and i personally think that Healy Mac's is better.
so.. this time i ordered Sirloin Steak without any hesitation, twice.
俗语说:抱你吃过返寻味!!!

you might be asking which one is better?
this answer is very subjective actually. if people ask me, i would tell them David's Diner is serving better Sirloin Steak as compared to Yeolde English/STG/Maria's Cafe/Moven Peak.
The price is reasonable too.. around RM44/set subject to tax (inclusive of 1 soup, 2 sides, 1 drink and 1 dessert!!!)
